What can I say about Day 6? I felt great, was on point with the meals, had energy with no discernible highs and lows (which is a first) and got s$#@ done! Ever have those days where you feel like you totally crushed it?! Yeah, that was today. I’m coming up on the last day of Phase 1 and am anxious about eliminating animal protein. My regular diet is a fairly paleo diet meaning that I eat mostly fruits, vegetables and animal proteins and very few grains and minimal dairy. This next phase is just fruits, veggies and grains! And as a side note, I haven’t weighed myself but I do feel thinner so that must count for something!?
Breakfast: Oatmeal with Apples & Flaxseeds & plain organic yogurt with pure maple syrup
Lunch: Quinoa Salad, Microgreen Salad and Creamy Garlic Dressing
Optional Snack: Chocolate Vegan Shakeology
Dinner: Roasted Root Medley & Zucchini-Cashew Soup
